7. What is RX?
"RX" simply means "as prescribed." It means you completed the Workout Of the Day without any modifications.
For instance, you may see a workout listed like this:
30 Clean and Jerks for time (135/95)
In this instance, the "prescribed" weight is 135lbs for the guys, and 95lbs for the ladies. If you were to complete this workout according to the movement standards using the "prescribed" weight, then you would get a RX designation next to your score.
The RX differs from day to day, however. Instead of a designated weight, it could be a specific movement such as Muscle Ups, or it could signify that you completed the required Range Of Motion for a particular movement.
Keep in mind that the RX is often geared towards the most advanced athletes in any particular gym...so it does not come easily.
