10. But we trained deadlifts yesterday, and now we've got squats today. Don't my legs need a break?

We don't train body parts, we train movements. 

It may be hard, but you need to do it. 

Your lower extremities are extremely capable of all sorts of feats of strength. 

We may squat the day after we deadlift. We may clean the day after we squat. 

It works. If it didn't work, we wouldn't do it:-)
